- Kimberley Orton is a Birth Doula (DONA) and a Traditional Japanese Reiki Practitioner (CRA). 416.529.5951 kimberleyorton@gmail.com
Kimberley graduated from the University of Toronto in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts Specialist degree in Drama, English and Anthropology (of Healing). She became fascinated with the birth process and its potential for engendering profound growth in women after the birth of her daughter in 1999. She began her formal doula training in early 2007. Kimberley believes every woman deserves to have the birth of her choosing and works to help that become possible throughout the process by advocating for and empowering the laboring woman and her family.
Kimberley Orton trained in Traditional Japanese Reiki with Catherine Tammaro. Her training included instruction specific to the benefits of offering chi to women while pregnant, during and after birth. She focuses her TJR practice on pre & post natal and women's health and wellness.
Kimberley is a member of the Canadian Reiki Association, Doulas of North America (DONA) and DoulaCare.
Traditional Japanese Reiki fees and Doula fees available upon request.
There is no charge for infant/child treatments.
Children under 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Gift certificates for Traditional Japanese Reiki sessions and birth doula services make meaningful gifts for showers, blessingways and other special occasions.
